Worship Committee

Hampsthwaite School Worship Committee

Worship committee is a group of children and adults that help and arrange what we do in worship. The children of the worship committee help plan themes and which songs we sing. We also help to set up the hall for worship every day, and we take part in prayers and other parts of the worship. Sometimes our committee plans and leads our own assemblies too. There are two children from every class in the school, and everyone loves to contribute and discuss ideas and what can be improved.
In some assemblies children in the worship committee get  evaluation sheets and fill them in. On the sheet there are lots of questions to see how relevant the theme was and how much everyone around you participated.

We really enjoy being in the worship committee because we get to share our ideas and help the school.
Worship Committee members this year are: Fin, Sam, Gabriel, Thomas, Callum, Lucy, Jack, Freya, Finlay and William.
