Our Published Admissions Number (PAN) is 15. This means that we normally admit 15 children each year into Reception, and each year group through school would subsequently consist of up to 15 children. However, the PAN can sometimes be exceeded, for example to accommodate more children living in the school catchment area. As an Academy, the school is responsible for admissions, with the admissions and appeals process administered by the Local Authority on our behalf. We use the North Yorkshire County Council admissions policy and over-subscription criteria, a copy of which is in the Policies and Downloads section of our website. Further information about admissions and appeals procedures is available from North Yorkshire County Council and can be obtained by calling 01609 533679 or visiting www.northyorks.gov.uk
Applications for places in main school are through the North Yorkshire online system. The following link gives access to North Yorkshire admissions:
Admissions to Nursery are according to our school policy, which again follows the North Yorkshire agreed criteria. Nursery admissions are administered directly by the school, so please do contact the school office if you are interested in a Nursery place for your child. Our school policy for admissions to Nursery is in the Policies and Downloads section of this website, under the PARENTS tab.
Priority for both school and nursery admissions is given to children living in the assigned catchment area shown on the map above.
