Day 1: We had a great time at the Science Museum, with all kinds of hands-on exploration and observation of science. We have been face-to-face with astronauts, seen machines and vehicles, computers, 3D printing, bricks grown from bacteria and much more! The science show included live demonstrations of exploding hydrogen and other means to learn about space rockets... After tea, we went up to Hyde Park to see the Albert Hall and Memorial, played football and frisbee and burned off lots of energy before bedtime.
Day 2: After a morning of debating, law-making and the history of parliament, and meeting Andrew Jones MP, we went along Whitehall for lunch in Trafalgar Square and our visit to the artworks in the National Gallery. As you can see, we bought some souvenirs along the way! The day ended with our trip on the London Eye - definitely a highlight!
Day 3: From dinosaurs to giant whales we have seen everything at the Natural History Museum, and had a super workshop being scientists - observing and measuring lots of weird and wonderful specimens. At the Aquarium, we were face to face with the live versions of great sea creatures.
Day 4: After a special Birthday Breakfast, we went to the Tower of London, and learned the truth about Henry VIII, along with trying on armour.
What a fantastic week!
